Step 1: Find the Manage Autodeposit option

To add a payee, you'll need the official payee name and payee account number. Both items can be found on a bill or statement.

From the home screen, select the menu in the top left corner of the screen.

In the menu, pick Transfers.

This option may appear in a different place than in the sample image. If you don't see it, scroll down.

Select Manage Autodeposit from the Transfers menu.

Step 2: Set up or add Autodeposit

If you haven’t set up Autodeposit yet, select the Set up Autodeposit button.

If you’ve set up an Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit before, select the Add icon in the top right corner to create a new Autodeposit.

This icon may look different, depending on your device.

Step 3: Enter deposit information

Enter your email address in the Email Address field.

Once setup is complete, money transfers sent to this email address can be deposited into your account automatically without the need to answer a security question.

Enter this email address again in the Confirm Email Address field.

Select an account from the Deposit To dropdown menu.

Money transfers can be deposited to this account automatically once setup is complete.

Select the Continue button.

Step 4: Review and confirm

Review the Autodeposit terms. If you agree, select the Agree button.

You’ll receive a message from Interac stating that setup is almost done.
